As the design leader, I oversee experience strategy, user research and UI/UX design for products across the OneTrust platform. My focus has been on demonstrating the value of human-centered design to stakeholders, and on hiring, mentoring and retaining top design talent to further establish our Design Center of Excellence.

I balanced strategic design work with team oversight in this senior leadership position, notably leading the global services product design team to modernize the UI of software products across the organization, and contributing to numerous new business proposals (RFP's). Additionally, as director of Experience for Canada, I led the hiring, staffing and growth of our team of over 20 designers along with creation of Fiserv's first usability lab.

I had the opportunity in this management position to hone my skills in experience strategy and design thinking, leading cross-discipline teams to collaboratively and creatively solve problems. Key projects included leading a seven person design team to reimagining several digital experiences, which included overseeing the creation and maintenance of design systems, and collaborating with project management and engineering teams to establish a strategic digital roadmap that would significantly improve the experience for millions of customers.

During my stint in the customer experience team, I was able to grow my design leadership and experience strategy skills exponentially. I had the opportunity to work on many diverse projects including leading content and strategy for support, being integrated into the innovation design team to help bring their new digital rebranding to life after acquiring DirecTV.

Pivoting into a role on the creative team allowed me to apply my strategic perspective to design, leading UX on numerous projects for global Fortune 50 companies while providing career management, training and performance reviews for junior team members. Projects included leading a four person UX team to redesign the member experience across 7 platforms, developing detailed wireframes and prototypes.

In my year in the project management sector, I found my niche by advocating for content driven search strategy, refining clients' digital properties to increase value, traffic and conversions while maximizing technical health to enhance user experience and accessibility. Key projects included analyzing internal and external search behavior to develop the content strategy for EBG's competitive advantage, and determining rebranding strategy based on an extensive content and technical audit.

I had the opportunity in this role to lead the creation of products to uphold brand image and oversaw execution including aesthetic and quality, brand identity system and graphics for in-house and licensed design across all categories in men, women and children's functional travel gear and accessories.
